Features of the box and handle
When you use the shelter box and handle you get the following features.
- a box with wood on all sides to insulate the birds and keep them safe
- a handle that attaches to the trap and box combo to make lifting easier
- a handle with hardware cloth attached to put bait on so it won't blow away
- a piece of hardware cloth for the platform to keep bait from blowing away
- a viewing door with hardware cloth inside the box to allow you to see the birds in the shelter box
- a clean out door with lock to allow removal of debris from inside the shelter box

- 1: drawer pull with screws to attach to board for handle

Assembly
When I ship, I send assembly instructions as you do need to attach the shelter box to the side of the trap, attach the handle to the top of the trap, and attach the hardware cloth to the entry platform of the trap.
To assemble you'll need a
drill & screwdriver as well as side cutters to cut a hole in the holding chamber of the trap.
